Request for Information
The North Carolina Industrial
Commission is in the process of re-negotiating its contract for
court reporting services for hearings before Deputy
Commissioners.
The expeditious production of
transcripts and exhibits will shorten the time for issuing
Opinion and Awards. We have initiated inquiries regarding
digital recording systems and other developing technologies.
If your company or firm has
utilized a technologically-advanced court reporting system or if
you have information that could be helpful in our efforts,
please e-mail by May 31, 2008 Commissioner Buck Lattimore at
lattimob@ind.commerce.state.nc.us or Commissioner
Christopher Scott at
scottc@ind.commerce.state.nc.us.
