The Mid-State Safety Council strives to promote safety in industry, home and public arenas with special emphasis on workplace safety. It is operated as an independent, non-commercial, non-political organization.
Programs of the Mid-State Safety Council are held in March, June, September and December and are enhanced by outstanding speakers who share their experiences and successes in safety related issues. Programs include such topics as regulatory compliance, nuts and bolts of managing workplace safety, safety teams, and avoiding back injuries. In addition to the quarterly meetings, the Council annually conducts a day-long safety workshop, and periodically provides special, extended programs addressing such specific issues as construction safety.
Meetings are not only educational, but provide excellent opportunities to network with other individuals who have a professional interest in safety.
